For a long time this was Balmoral’s best kept secret clear flavours and low, low prices. However, Zap2 has recently doubled in size; though the old guard will tell you that bigger and brighter and brighter ain’t necessarily better it is still packed to the gunnels.

Zap2 has made a concerted effort to brand itself as a departure from your standard Thai. There’s the odd name, there’s the company motto: “for some flare in your food,” and finally, a particularly snazzy website complete with bouncing, flaming letters But the branding is actually its only point of difference, the food is bog-standard, though good, Thai. |
